 Avvatar nutrition launched in year 2017 is subsidiary of Parag Milk Foods Ltd

 It is the only company in India to start its own whey producing plant

 The company caters into wide range of products (the latest addition being

RAPID-Energy drink for all)

 Avvatar is the first brand to be certified by informed sports

 It is predicted that the Indian supplement industry which is currently valued around 0.8

billion$ is expected to grow by 20% annually


 The industry is filled with major players being local and international
 Innovation , brand name , product quality is key to success
 Avvatar which is comparatively new in the market has become a huge threat to the local
brands as they offer quality which others cant.
 Currently Avvatar has 5 products under them:- 100% whey/ Isorich/Mass and Muscle
gainer/Rapid but they constantly need to innovate as the competitors are way ahead with the
number of products available

 The major threat to Avvatar is no doubt Optimum nutrition(INTERNATIONAL) which


covers around 50% market share , followed by Muscle tech and Dymatise
 The market is budget constrained though Avvatars price is comparably low as compared to
the international brands , the local brands offer products which are cheaper , hence sacrificing
quality
 Brands such as Big Muscle and Muscle Blaze are currently making a statement in market
with wide range of products and innovating marketing.

very important to maintain the quality standards
