Study Abroad

Study Abroad Experiences

One of our students tell us about her study abroad experience.

This year , I had the opportunity to study abroad for a semester

in Ankara, Turkey. While taking classes in Ankara we traveled
to several different attractions around the country. This was the
trip of a lifetime, and it would not have been possible without
the teachings, resources, and support of our wonderful Foreign
Language department.”

“ While I was there, I had some of the most amazing experiences of my

life so far. Being a foreign language major definitely helped me navigate
socially while I studied in Ankara, and it also played a crucial role in
being able to excel in my classes. Having such a great experience abroad
was one of the many doors that have been opened to me by becoming a
English student at FFL, and I see so many other great opportunities
ahead.”
