Smokers are categorized into 2
1. Active Smoker
It is people who smoke
cigarettes and inhale
the smoke from the
burning of the cigarette
which is released from
the end of the cigarette
which is smoked called
the main smoke.
2. Passive Smokers
Is a person who is around active smokers who
helped smoke cigarette smoke is not the result of
burning their own cigarettes but side smoke and
cigarette smoke that is exhaled out of active
smokers.
Impact for
Passive
Smokers
The risk of getting a disease for passive smokers
remains quite high for example:
lung cancer

coronary
heart disease
fetal developmental disorders for

pregnant mothers whose husbands

smokers and other respiratory

disorders

while for children exposed to


cigarette smoke can arise
bronchitis
Pneumonia

ear infections
Worsen the condition of asthma

Narrowing occurs in the airways
due to increased cells and
lender buildup. Changes in lung
function form the main basis for
chronic lung obstruction
including emphysema of the
lungs, chronic bronchitis, and
asthma.

Danger for health
• Nicotine = Addiction (addictive)
• Memory loss
• Bronchitis
• High blood pressure, heart disease, stroke
• Dead

The environment is disturbed


• Air pollution
• Passive smokers are more dangerous than active smokers
• Educate wasteful life
• A lot of money has been spent
How to stop
smoking ??
1. Determine in the heart
to stop smoking
2. Record how many
cigarettes you smoke in
a day and note when
and in what situations
you smoke
3. Change the situation
with something better
Change the situation with better things, for example :

 Bored = Perform pending tasks


 Difficulty concentrating = Bite toothpicks, cinnamon, carrots, cucumber
etc.
 Short break = drink a glass of orange juice
 After eating = traveling, reading magazines etc.
 Look for hobbies, busy activities that are loved soon after quitting
smoking
 Notify family and ask for support
 Keep away from the smoker environment
 Don't give up smoking again, not just a cigarette
