faced by residents in the city and provide policies to solve these
problems.
Study of Master Plan of Delhi is also important as it acts as
guideline for various other cities and is one of the most
comprehensive master plans.
Vision 2021 is to make Delhi a global metropolis
and a WORLD CLASS city ,where all the people
would be engaged in productive work with a better
quality of life, living in a sustainable environment

 New Delhi Zone: New Delhi Zone is an urban district of Delhi which serves as the capital of
India and seat of all three branches of the Government of India. The foundation stone of the city
was laid by Emperor George V during the Delhi Durbar of 1911. It was designed by British
architects, Sir Edwin Lutyens and Sir Herbert Baker.
 North Delhi Zone : North Delhi is an administrative district of the National Capital Territory of
