PAINT MIXER

MACHINE

Team Fast Five

General Objectives
The general objective of this study was to
produce a prototype machine intended for mixing
paints.

Specific Objectives
1. To determine the shortest time to mix maximum
amount of paint in the device;
2. To determine the machine efficiency; and
3. To examine the quality of paint after mixing.
METHODOLOGY

Research Locale

In order to finish the construction of

the machine, the group did all the
activities in Magpapalayoc, San
Leonardo, Nueva Ecija.

The efficiency of the machine was 97.67% and
the total losses of the paint was 2.33% on the
mass input.

The test result also showed that the lowest time

needed for 10 liters of paint to be mixed is 45
seconds. The paint quality was fine and evenly
mixed.
SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND
RECOMMENDATIONS

Summary:
Once the construction of the machine was finished,
testing was done to determine the performance of the
machine. After testing the machine, the results proved
that the machine was efficient. The design of the paint
mixer was valuable.
Conclusions:
•Paint Mixer Machine can mix a maximum of
10 liters paint in at least 45 seconds
•Paint Mixer Machine has an average
efficiency of 97.67%.
•The quality of the paint is satisfactory.
Recommendations:

Instead of a paint mixer alone, make adjustment so as to

make it a multi-purpose mixer which can be applicable
for fertilizers, and dough.
