Tests
• Quizzes may either be announced or
unannounced
• One make up test per semester and only for
supported valid absence.
• The teacher is not obliged to give special tests.
Feedback
• Homeworks, quiz, exams, and lab reports will be
returned as soon as possible.
• Keep and file them for future references.
• Call my attention if there are errors in my markings.

Other Rules
• It is the obligation of the student to take notes. The teacher is not oblige to
give out copies of presentations.
• Everyone is expected to bring their own scientific calculator and Periodic
Table of Elements. Strictly no borrowing of calculators and Periodic Table
of Elements during quizzes and exams. The use of mobile phones as
calculators is not allowed.
• No scratch papers. Use the white spaces of the questionnaire as scratch
• No erasures and alterations of any kind and form are allowed in quizzes
and exams expect for open-ended problems
• For all open-ended problems, students are required to use the Given-
Required-Solution format

Laboratory Rules
• No laboratory gown, no experiment
• Reports must be submitted on or before the deadline. Reports
submitted after the deadline will be given a score of 0.
• Known samples are to be analyzed by groups, unknown samples are
to be analyzed individually.
• Laboratory performance will be graded during the analysis of known
samples. Grades obtained during the analysis of unknown sample
will be recorded under laboratory exams.
• ‘Right minus wrong’ system will be applied in the scoring during the
analysis of unknown samples.
