• Want to stay because of some reasons like internet access to do their
assignments, project deadlines, activities and etc.
• Some student wanted that they can access easily to near
establishments like restaurant, laundry shop, internet café and etc.
aside from their school.
• Boarding House owners and operators are hardly to find new tenants
like those that are established far from the main road.
Web-based application is any program that is accessed over a network
connection using HTTP, rather than existing within a device’s memory.
Web-based applications often run inside a web browser. However, web-
based applications also may be client-based, where a small part of the
program is downloaded to a user’s desktop, but processing is done
over the internet on an external server.

Boarding house is a housing business, sometimes is called rented room
or house that makes the customer stayed in certain period of time and
pay for their house monthly. Some owner includes electric bill, water
bill and other necessary bills for the house but some don’t include
those bills that increase the payment monthly. Student acquires mostly
boarding house that has a minimum payment but includes the electric
bill, water bill, and even free food every day.
Now the current situation is students are having a hard time finding
boarding houses, mostly freshmen or new to the site. In order for them
to find boarding house is either a recommendation from their
acquaintance or they explore the location based on the advertise sign
of the renting house.
The Boarding House Commission of Iloilo is the commission that
regulate the all boarding house in the city of Iloilo. They regulated the
seven districts in Iloilo the Jaro, Lapaz, City Proper, Manduraio, Arevalo,
Molo and Lapuz. As of November 30, 2019 survey there 2,894
inspected boarding house, which Jaro district has the most with 711.
Out of 2,894 inspected there 1,884 boarding houses have a business
permit. Lastly there have 1,495 out of 1,884 boarding houses that
certified by the commission.

application where the user can search their desire boarding house.

• To develop a mapping system which can identify nearby boarding

houses.
