Remove Landing Gear

Remove
• A. Jack aircraft in accordance with instructions contained in Section II.
• B. Reduce hydraulic system pressure to zero.
• C. Disconnect and cap brake hydraulic hose in nacelle.
• D. Remove bungees as follows:
1. Remove bungees from lower pulleys.
2. Drive rollpins out of upper pulleys.
3. Push out pulley axle pins and remove puleys and bungees.
E. Reduce pressure in landing gear emergency air storage cylinder to
zero.
Remove
• F. Disconnect both actuating cylinders from landing gear outer body.
• G. Disconnect drag brace from landing gear outer body as follows:
1. Break safety wire and remove drag brace pin retaining bolts.
2. Screw a 1/4 inch 28 thread bolt into drag brace pins and use
bolt to withdraw pins.
3. Allow drag brace to hinge aft and clear of working area.
• H. Remove gear trunnion bushing taper pins.
• I. With gear securely supported, withdraw mounting pins and remove
gear from aircraft
