Pavement Markings

White Lines
• On a 2 lane road the white lines run along

Crosswalks
• Crosswalks are where pedestrians cross t
he road and they have the right-of-way.

– Crosswalks are not always marked so be alert
and yield the right-of-way.
Stop Lines
• When you are required to stop, you must s
top completely before you vehicle crosses
the stop line.

– Railroad crossings
– Crosswalks

rom specific lanes on the road.

• They will give you the option to turn, g
