This study aims to determine:

 the profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender,

and strand/section.
 the level of Selfitis or Self- Obsession among senior high
students of Sulop National High School S.Y. 2018 – 2019.
 the extent of self-esteem among senior high school
students of Sulop National High School.
 if there is a significant relationship between level of
Selfitis and the level self-esteem among the senior high
school students.
• Janarthanan, et.al.(2017) the concepts of “selfitis” and “selfie
addiction” explained that low self-confidence that lead to
excessive behavior and addiction to “selfies” wherein six
factors underlying selfitis among participants were identified
(i.e., self-confidence, attention seeking, mood modification,
environmental enhancement, subjective conformity, and social
competition). It was also demonstrated the importance of
these factors differed among those classed as borderline, acute,
or chronic selfie takers.

• Panday and Preeti (2017) provided a new angle to explore the

relationship between selfies and self-esteem. Self-confidence
has an internal lucos which can increase people’s self-esteem.
