What we did in our internship

 Fire Protection System

 Air-conditioning and ventilation
 Electrical Installation
Fire Protection System

 Installing networks of pipes inside the building in case of fire emergency. Each pipe
has multiple sprinkler endpoints.

 All the pipe lines are provided with constant pressure of water

 Every sprinkler is equipped with a temperature sensing glass blub, which explodes at
specific temperature.

 When the glass blub is destroyed, all the water in the pipe starts to spray with high
pressure, reducing the overall pressure inside the pipes.

 Pressure decreasing in the pipe networks triggers the fire alarm, and activates the
pump.
Some On-site Records
Installation
Air conditioning systems

 Installing air-con unit (wall mounted and cassette type)

 Routing copper pipes between outdoor unit and indoor
unit.
 Calculating the required length and sizes.
 When the pipe length becomes too long, both the capacity and reliability
drop.
 As the number of bends increases, system piping resistance to the refrigerant
flow increases, thus lowering the cooling capacity.
 Choose the shortest path and follow the recommendations.
Installation Procedures

 Start with mounting indoor units at the designated positions.

 Then install outdoor units at the nearest suitable outside of the building.

 Route the pipes and electrical wires, with proper insulation.

Electrical Wiring Installation

Introduction

Common business buildings normally require electricity for lighting, fire

protection, air-conditioning, servers, water pumps.
Each electrical equipment requires specific sizes of wire, switch and
breaker.
Every electrical installation needs to follow Quality standards.
In most domestic electrical installation process, low voltage appliances
are used.
For some installation like CCTV, extra low voltage ones are used.
Quality Standards
