Inspired by current pop sounds, soft lyrics and lyric video, Pune-based electronic
duo, Zephyrtone just released the video for their single, ‘Only You’ and have already
garnered more than 2 million views. Launched in 2015, Zephyrtone consists of
Sayan, originally from Kolkata and Zephyr who hails from Ahmedabad but
are both currently residing in Pune.
Zephyrtone’s ‘Only You’ was a product of one of their impromptu jam sessions and
in comparison to their prior releases of high energy vocals and sets, it has a more
sober feel. It is emotionally driven which brings out a connectable vibe. The track
talks about the ups and downs of being in a relationship which makes it relatable.
The duo have performed their DJ + LIVE act at some of the biggest festivals and
venues across the country with their productions have been supported by the likes
of Porter Robinson, Bobby Burns and more. We caught up with them to find out more
about their backstory, their future plans and more.
