Everyday Operations

• Turn off lights when not in use


• Keep exterior doors closed at all times.
• Set AC thermostats to 24 Degrees
• Maintain HVAC and Clean AC Filters regularly
• Educate all store employees in energy savings initiatives

Design Interventions

• Design Electrical Circuits for Peak and Off Peak Loads


• Take advantage of natural lighting when possible
• Reduce lighting in non-customer areas, such as stockrooms and
employee restrooms.
• Proper use lighting software such as bubble magic/ other software for
ideal positioning of light fittings- design
• Install smart controls. Consider wireless thermostats, which will allow
you to operate HVAC remotely.
