SYNOPSIS
The aim of this subject is :
To introduce the students with the basic principles and
concepts of analog and digital communication.

This subject will cover various topics such as:


 Introduction to Communication System,
 Analogue Modulation and Demodulation (e.g. Amplitude
Modulation),
 Angle Modulation (Frequency Modulation and Phase
Modulation),
 Digital Modulation (Amplitude Modulation, Frequency Shift
Keying, Phase Shift Keying)
 Digital Transmission (Pulse Code Modulation, Type of
Coding, Multiplexing System, Noise)

 Examination = 70 %

 Both members should attend during the lab session until
end of the session
 Evaluation during lab session
 Report should be submitted within a week, no submission
lab report will be punished
 Late submission will be given zero mark
