WHAT IS CLOUD?

• The term cloud refers to network.


• "The cloud" refers to servers that are
accessed over the Internet, and the software
and databases that run on those servers.
CLOUD COMPUTING
• Cloud Computing is delivery of different services
through the internet like data storage, servers,
database, networking, and softwares.
• Cloud computing consist of Hardware and software
resources made available on the internet as they are
managed by the third party services. These services
typically provides access to advanced software
application, high end networks of server computers

Example- Amazon Elastic
Cloud Compute(EC2), Azure
services Platform by Windows.
PRIVATE CLOUD
It is operated solely
by single organization.
It’s a cloud service
that is not shared with
any other
organization.
Example- Microsoft
cloud, citrix cloud,
amazon virtual private
cloud.
HYBRID CLOUD

Combination of both
private and public
cloud.
TYPES OF CLOUD COMPUTING SERVICES
INFRASTRUCTURE AS A
SERVICE (IAAS)

• IAAS used for Internet-based access to storage and


computing power
• It provides a completely virtualized computing
infrastructure that is provisioned and managed over the
internet.
• Examples of IaaS: Amazon Web Services (AWS)
PLATFORM AS A SERVICE
(PAAS)

• PAAS gives developers the tools to build and host web


applications.
• PaaS provides the framework needed to build, test,
deploy, manage, and update software products. 
• Examples of PaaS: Microsoft Azure
SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE
(SAAS)

•  Software-as-a-service (SaaS) which is used for web-


based applications.
• SaaS is a fully-developed software solution ready for
purchase and use over the internet on a subscription
basis. 
• Examples of SaaS: Microsoft Office 365, Google Apps
