Set Design – Trees.

Started modelling the trunk of the tree using a polygon cylinder as a base to work from, then proceeded by
adding in edge loops where necessary and extruding.
Then started to model
the base structure of
the tree with a
separate piece of
geometry to mimic
that of the concept
design.

With trying to model


the trees foliage I
found it challenging as
I couldn’t get my head
round the best way to
approach it.
As seen in later experiments, I gave other
approaches ago; creating other versions of stylised
tree formations to be replicate that of a tree.
With these outcomes they aren’t perfect, but are useable for the animation as I intend to mainly
focus around the trunk of the trees.
