How do plants impact microbiomes in certain ecosystems?

the BIOME project, we could increase plant health. 1. Sterilize our plant species to determine
biodiversity and plants in Old Field

our plant species, the Sumac.

Conclusion:
After using bacterial plating to determine the
existing microbiomes on Sumac, we created a
library of microbiomes (after sterilization). We
determined that Sumac is a common plant in
the Old Field, primarily scattered on the
perimeter of the Old Field.

In the future:
Next, we will analyze our specific microbiome and
determine how much of the microbiome could be
beneficial to other organisms within the ecosystem.
