Assessment plays an important role in the process of teaching and

learning. Cheng & Janna defines that assessment refers to all those
activities undertaken by teachers, and by their students in
assessing themselves, which provide information to be used as
feedback to modify the teaching and learning activities in which
they are engaged (Cheng & Janna Fox, 2017).

ongoing process that encompasses much
wider than a test (Brown, 2004). He defines
five principles in assessment and
evaluation.
