WHAT IS JOINT VENTURE ?
• Joint Venture is a term used to refer to the agreement between two
or more companies that pool their resources in order to complete a
common task or reach the same goal. This task or objective may be to
launch a new project, to enter a new market, to offer a better service,
etc.
• The purpose will be to obtain the greatest possible profit from this
union or association.
NATIONAL COMPANIES THAT MADE
JOINT VENTURE ALLIANCES

• This was done by the Japanese company Toyota and the partners of
the Colombian company Distoyota, which, after competing for years
in the distribution of the car brand, decided to unite and create a
partnership.
• These are Toyota Colombia Automotive, in which the national
businessmen have 60 percent and the Japanese 40 percent.
JUAN VALDEZ
• When the stores Juan Valdez decided to open branches in others
countries, resorted to this form of negotiation.
• The "Joint Venture" that took place company Chilena Falabella in
2007, where it contributed 65% and Juan Valdez 35% to be able to
reach the market of that country; also in countries such as Peru,
Spain, Ecuador, and the United States, and currently has more than
300 stores around the world.

• The bimbo group of Mexican origin and the nutresa group of national
origin made "Joint Venture" for the expansion of export of products
and the creation of new ideas whose profit was the gradual conquest
of different national and foreign markets, something that could be
seen as one of the most triumphant cases in our country in the use of
this contractual species.

subregion
