Weight Management

 Weight management is the process of adopting long-ter


m lifestyle modification to maintain a healthy body w
eight on the basis of a person's age, sex and height.
Methods of weight management include eating a healthy
diet and increasing physical activity levels.
 Weight management is the phrase used to describe both
the techniques and underlying physiological processes
that contribute to a person's ability to attain and m
aintain a certain weight. Most weight management tech
niques encompass long-term lifestyle strategies that
promote healthy eating and daily physical activity.
WEIGHING SCALE

 Weighting Scales are used to measure the weight of


an item. To use a scale, the item which needs to b
e weighed is put on one side of the scale. Then, u
sually stones are put on the other side to compare
the weight of the stone with the weight of the obj
ect you have chosen.
METER STICKS

 Meter sticks are used to measure objects that are


larger than a piece of paper. Remember that you ca
n use centimetres and millimetres if the object is
smaller than a piece of paper. Those items are eas
ily measured with a ruler.
TAPE MEASURE

 A tape measure is a portable measurement device use


d to quantify the size of an object or the distance
between objects.
 A tape measure or measuring tape is a flexible rule
r used to measure distance. It consists of a ribbon
of cloth, plastic, fibre glass, or metal strip with
linear-measurement markings. It is a common measuri
ng tool.
