OSCILLATORS
• Oscillators are circuits that produce an output
signal without the necessity of an input signal.
• Used as signal source
1. sine waves
2. square waves
3. triangular waves
4. sawtooth waves
• Oscillator that produces sine wave is based on the
principle of positive feedback, where a part of the
output signal is fed back to the input to reinforce
itself and thus sustain a repetitive output signal.
