Agriculture activities give impacts on climate change in Malaysia.
1. Rate of expansion and survival of reproductive structures are affected when
the temperature increases. • The moisture content of the soils are affecting on evaporation process. • May be altered by the rate of precipitation, surrounding temperature, the cloud cover and the soil moisture. 2. Food production which resulting from agriculture activities leads to; Geographical and yield changes in agriculture. Reduction in the quantity of water available – irrigation. Loss of land – rise of the sea levels. 3. The presence of weeds, pests and diseases. • Cause changes in temperature and precipitation profiles.
4. Contribution of CO2 from agriculture activities.
• Increase in CO2 increase the rate of photosynthesis of the paddy field. • Increase the surrounding temperature too.
