Lesson Objectives:
• Recognise and define unity.
• Analyse how unity is manifested in nature, in an organisation, on
the sports field and at home.
• Analyse the benefits of practising unity.
• Derive the factors that work towards upholding unity.
• Derive the factors that work against unity.
• Infer that unity is inherent in himself/herself.
• Simulate the concept of unity.
• Derive ways to imbibe and practice unity in real life.
• Summarise the session.

• Work in groups.
• Go through the magazine given to you.
• Identify images that show unity and cut
them out.
• Stick the images on the chart paper and
make a collage.
• One representative from each group must:
– Present the collage.
– Talk about how the collage depicts
unity.
• Duration: 15 Minutes
• Unity exists everywhere. It is the principle that the universe is built on and
individuals are in the centre.
• Unity:
