FAMILY EDUCATION & STUDIES IN CALAMBA
Like what Dona Teodora did to his son, Jose Rizal that she
encouraged and taught him the basic knowledge at his early
age. Like reading, writing and praying which it helped Rizal
about the language skills that served to him as an educational
foundation. Dona Teodora is also used to tell Rizal different
stories and hired a private tutors that are still very timely up to
these days.
Parents are also the one who see our skills & potentials
about something and pushing us to continue that good things.
Like Dona Teodora discovered the talent of Rizal in poetry at
the young age and encouraged him to write many poems.
1. El Nino Jesus (To the Child Jesus) – Rizal wrote this at the
age of 14, he was early interested in social inequity and
Christianity. A brief religious ide which he expressed his respect
to Catholicism. At a young age, Rizal was taught about the basic
truth about Christianity. Rizal already felt deeply for his country
and have a handful of dreams for his motherland. He believed in
non-violence actions and found a firm ally in the person of Christ.

Recuerdo A Mi Pueblo (In Memories of My Town) – Rizal wrote
this at the age of 15, a soft and tender poem in honor of his beloved
hometown Calamba in Laguna. His first childhood memory was his
happy days in their family garden when he was three years old. The
content of the poem is to express Rizal's love and appreciation for
the place where he grew up and prays for his town to remains as full
of hope and happiness as he remembers it.
