Week 1 Planning, May 18th to 22nd


CONTEXT:
Session 1: Synchronic Class: Unit 13 Where do we live?
Presentation of the second term for students to receive directions on how the work will be
developed during the four coming weeks. Pre task: Students will dance and sing the prayer of the
term (uploaded in the school channel)

term (Handout 1) and draw the cover on their notebooks, (Also uploaded in Moodle as a PPT).
 
Session 2: Asynchronic Class (Moodle) watch and listen to the song “I live in a flat”

Session 3: Synchronic Class: Students will be presented the question: Where do you live?,
following the teacher´s answer, Students will listen, practice and identify the vocabulary of the unit,
on p.128 of the textbook Oxford Discovery 1 (shared on screen by the teacher)
Speaking: tasks b and c of the page. They will listen and sing Billy´s house, proposed on p.133 of
the textbook, for them to get familiar with the new vocabulary and expressions. On page 129, they
will recognize some labels presented in a picture.
Individual work: students will listen and draw some elements of a landscape in a picture. (Taken
from Fun for Movers).
 Session 4: Synchronic Class: Storytelling done by the teacher.
Week 2 Planning, May 25th to 29th

Session 1: Synchronic Class: Students will read page 130 of the book, Where´s your home?
(Shared on screen by the teacher) and try to guess the meaning of the highlighted words, in order to
differentiate the meaning of neighborhood, town, city and country, and solve the exercise proposed
on p. 132 on their notebooks.
 
Session 2: Synchronic Class: Presentation of the question: What´s your address? For students
to
identify labels, such as their house or street number, each one will write their address on the
notebook, and say it aloud, for the others to try to recall as many as they can.  Song “Billy´s
House”

EXPERIENCE: Cycle Task.


Session 3: Synchronic Class: Students will watch and sing the song https://
learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/grammar-chants/renata-lives-big-old-house, for them to identify
the places studied before, and then they will play the game. (link shared through the chat)
Listening: from page 134, for students to identify the characteristics of different places. Task 3 will
be solved by each student on the notebook.
 
Session 4: Asynchronic Class: Students will watch a video about the Saxon possessive, and
solve a writing activity related to the video.
Week 3 Planning, June 1st to 5th

Session 1: Asynchronic Class: Individual work: Students will solve a practice worksheet, as a
preparation for the listening and speaking test.

REFLECTION
Session 2: Synchronic class Common sharing: of the work done in the worksheet, in order to
identify strengths and weaknesses of the individual work.

Session 3: Synchronic class Students will describe, on their notebooks, the place where they
live in and its characteristics, using the vocabulary previously studied, and following the model: I
live in a _____________ (house/apartment) it is ________and _________ (noisy/quiet, safe/
dangerous), on their notebooks.
 
 Session 4: Synchronic Class: Students will design their dream house, which will be used for
the Speaking strategy,

Session 5: Synchronic Class: Storytelling done by the teacher.


Week 4 Planning, June 8th to 12th

Session 1: Asynchronic Class:


Pre task: Unit 14 City Mouse and Country Mouse.

Presentation of the peaking Assessment Strategy. Students who finish will practice some
