How to
Make a Coat
of Arms
Long ago medieval knights carried colorful shields. The shields
were decorated with designs called coat of arms.The
symbols on a coat of arms described the knight’s acts of
courage and bravery.
You can design your own coat of arms.First sketch a large
shield. Then divide the shield into four sections. In the upper
left-hand section draw a picture of your favorite pet or a
wild animal you specially like. In the upper right-hand
section draw a picture that represents a sports or a hobby
you enjoy.In the lower left-hand section draw something
that represents what you want to become a scientist, a
doctor, a lawyer, a teacher, an artist? In the last section,
draw a picture of your favorite flower, tree, or fruit.

A preposition is a word that connects the noun or the
pronoun to the other words in a sentence.
A prepositional phrase is a group of words that consists of
the preposition and its object(noun or pronoun) and any
modifiers of the object.
The noun/pronoun used after the preposition is called the
object of the preposition.
