creating an original Tie Dye
handkerchief.

other material required for tie &

C. Gain an understanding of the
process of tie & dye.

The foreground, middle ground, and
background divide the landscape into
different planes that the artist uses to create a
sense of depth.

The foreground of a landscape is generally

closer to the bottom of the composition,
although that isn’t always the case.  As this
part of the scene is closest to the viewer the
objects appear to be larger.

 2. TIE AND DYE

Tie-dye is a process of resist dyeing textiles or clothing which is

made from knit or woven fabric, usually cotton; typically using
bright colors. It is a modern version of traditional dyeing methods
used in many cultures throughout the world. "Tie-dye" can also
describe the resulting pattern or an item which features this 
pattern.

Take a cotton fabric of any size. By using the Tie and Dye
technique assigned, dye the fabric in a colour of your choice. You
can use a chemical dye available in the market or natural dye
