 INTRODUCTION.

A mobile charging process can be done without the

need of a person providing the service of charging the
mobile in public places such as BRT bus station, Bus
stands like Ubungo bus terminal, railway stations to be
there providing such service.
 BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Mobile is very important in our daily life since it is an

easy means of communication between two or more
people all the time. Due to the advancing in science and
technology of mobile nowadays a mobile have a lot of
task and ability of providing extra service lather than
voice which is Data (Internet). Through Data (Internet)
service is where one can have the ability to stream live
event, Downloading and Uploading different files etc.
Through the use of Data (Internet) power consumption
of those advanced mobile known as Smartphone is
high.
This situation has increased the need for mobile
charging service in different places like public places
such as BRT bus station, Bus stands like Ubungo bus
terminal, railway stations where it is difficult for
somebody to access the mobile charging service for
free. Therefore the situations of providing such
services insure Mobile phone to be ON all the time.
Also in the place where Tanesco electricity is not yet
there, it requires somebody owning a mobile to
access the mobile charging service within a
community from the service provider who use other
source of electricity such as Generator and Solar
system.
 
 PROBLEM STATEMENT

Many people nowadays are in the need of mobile

charging services, due to owning a Mobile that do not
last longer with a charge or living in the area where
there is no Tanesco source of electricity. Therefore a
system that has ability of detecting currency inserted on
it automatically from a customer for providing such
service is required . This is done without the need of a
person providing such service to be there.
 MAIN OBJECTIVE

• To design a mobile charging system that will be able

to detect the amount of money from the customer for
charging service depending on amount of time one
need his/her Mobile to be charged..
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
 To design a sensing system.
 To design a system for displaying time duration.
 To design a power supply that will provide power to
all section designed.
 To design an output stage.
 Interfacing the control unit with above system
mentioned.
 To design the overall functional circuit system.
 Testing the overall functional circuit (Simulation).

 Building the prototype of the overall functional circuit.

SIGNIFICANCE OF A PROJECT
•The project will give a room for service provider to
focus on other activities and consume less time on
providing this service.
•The services will be cheap and economical since a
service will depend on the amount of valid currency
inserted.
•The proposed system will create opportunity for
income generation.
 PROPOSED SYSTEM

The system will contain a currency validator sensor

where by as soon currency validator detects the
currency it sends a pulse to the Microcontroller. The
Microcontroller turns ON the relay(Electromechanical
Switch) to provide 240V,50Hz signal to the charging
socket and the user can charge his/her mobile phone
from the socket. The LCD is used to display the time
duration for which the user can charge his/her mobile
phone. As the total time gets lapsed, the charging will
be stopped.
Mobile will be charged at particular amount of time
depending on the number of currency inserted by
customer.

 CONCLUSION
Since the proposed system is important not only to the
service provider of Mobile charging service, but also it
help the customer in term of simplification in everyday
life. Myself I see it is a best solution to be done since it
is marketable due to greater advancing in science and
technology of Mobile which direct proportion to the
production of Mobile that consume high power due to
increase of service provided by those mobile.
