Disease?

Non communicable Disease –cannot be
transmitted from one person to another.

Many of these diseases are caused by

unhealthy lifestyle.some do not caase
problems until the person is quite
old.Examples of Non communicable
disease are Allergy,Asthma and
Cardiovascular Disease.
ALLERGY
-is a misguided reaction to foreign
substance by the immune system.The
substances that trigger allergy are
called allergen.Examples include
pollens,dust mite,molds,danders and
certain foods.People prone to
allergies are said to be allergic.
The different kind of allergy

 1.HAY FEVER (ALLERGIC RHINITIS) – is the most

common of the allergic diseases and is characterized
by seasonal nasal symptoms that are due to pollen.
 2.ALLERGIC ONJUNCTIVITIS –is inflammation of the
tissue layers tht cover the surface of the eyeball and
the undersurface of the eyelid.

Eczema –is an allergic rash that is usually
caused by skin contact with an aalergen.
4.Hives –are skin reaction that appears
as itchy swelling and can occur on any
part of the body.
5.Allergic Shock or (anaphylactic shock0
– is a life threating reaction that can
affect a number of organs at the same
time.

 Isa chronic lung disorder that causes

airways (the tubes that carry air into and
out of the lungs) to become inflamed,which
 Means that they swell and produce lot of
thick mucus.
CARDIOVACULAR DISEASE

 Isthe disease of the heart and blood

vessels.
 These include hear diseases and vascular
diseases.
