Zoom?
Zoom is a video communications software that
provides a platform for video and audio
conferencing, collaboration, chat, and
webinars.

Zoom is available across mobile devices,


desktops, telephones, and room systems.

Zoom is a very popular software-based


conference room solution used around the
world for board, conference, huddle, and
training rooms as well as classrooms and
executive offices.

Disadvantages
 Difficult to use certain features
– Some users have difficulties
with certain features such as
white-boarding, polling, and
remote control.

unpredictable and sometimes
blurry/pixelated

host, you can mute the attendees.

distraction free.
Barriers to
Adoption

• Learning curve – Some people are not used


to the video conferencing platform where
you have more than one person watching
you. They can be intimidated by this and are
afraid to mess up.
• Connection Issues – Some participants may
have issues connecting to the meeting which
discourages new users.
• Requires upgrading to Zoom Pro for
better features
