◦ This car is made up of piezoelectric tires. These tires are equipped with piezoelectric
cables, these cables consist of piezoelectric generators.
◦ So when the tires are rotated on the road, pressure is applied on the tires continuously.
Then they generate electricity.

To detect wear in train wheels by detecting change in vibration behaviour in the

◦ Piezo electric transducers are comprised of materials such as crystals and certain ceramics
which can convert physical energy into AC electricity.
◦ We can take advantage of property by putting piezo elements underneath our feet to produce
electricity.

piezoelectric pads in the railway throughout the country .

◦ Researcher at Bengaluru based Indian Institute of Science have developed piezoelectric material using
Ceramic.
◦ Researchers prepared the solid solution of compound (Bismuth Ferrite and Lead Titanite) that has the large
spontaneous lattice state which can bear lot of stress/force.
 CONCLUSION
◦Piezoelectricity is the revolutionary source for “GREEN
ENERGY”.
◦If promoted , they can become the future’s alternate source as
the power harvester .
◦They are the most reliable one as they have the ability to
withstand large amount of strains.
◦This stored electrical energy can be sued to power other devices
or stored for later use.
◦Hence, we being the future generation , the future is in our hand
so we have to develop and enhance the further ways of the
electricity.
