HISTORY
The "creation of man from clay" is
a miraculous birth theme.

EVIDENCES
• Sumerian Mythology: God Enki created servant of the Gods,
humankind, out of clay and blood[1].
• Chinese Mythology: Nüwa molded figures from the yellow
earth [2].
•  Egyptian mythology: God Khnum created human children
from clay before placing them into their mother's womb [3].
HISTORY
• Bible (Genesis 2:7) "And the Lord God formed man of
the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils
the breath of life; and man became a living soul." [4]
• Qur'an: God created man from quintessence of clay
[5].
• Hindu Mythology: Parvati, the mother of Ganesh,
made Ganesh from clay and turned the clay into flesh
and blood [6].
• Greek Mythology: Prometheus moulded men out of
water and earth [7].
