Compound Curve
• Compound Curve consist of two or more consecutive simple curves having different radius, but whose center
lie on the same side of the curve, likewise any of two consecutive curves must have a common tangent at
their meeting point.
Elements of Compound
Curve
 =radius of first curve
=radius of second curve
=tangent distance of first curve
=tangent distance of the second curve
+=common tangent
=central angle of first curve
=central angle of second curve
