What can you do to sustain or improve the air quality now and for the next

generation?

Improving air quality starts at home. This can help to reduce pollutants in our air.
To sustain and improve the air quality we must know what is our responsibility in this
generation and for the next generation. Starting from ourselves, just like stop in smoking
cigarettes can reduce risk on our air. Without circulating fresh air, inside or outside our
homes, it becomes stale and packed full of contaminants such as bacteria, dust, and
chemicals.

As an individual, the first step that I should do is determine the sources of air
pollution through the help of others who has knowledge or have done air quality studies
on our area. Next, I will cooperate or coordinate with others who have platforms on
planting trees. As we all know, trees can absorb pollutants and carbon dioxide, making
them extremely useful for improving air quality. I will also put lots of plants on our home
because it can also sustain air quality within our home.

How does air pollution spread and how can we handle this?

Air pollution is easily spread day by day. Starting from the vehicles, to the person
who is smoking, to the chemical spray that has been using and to all factories, these are
the following reason why air pollution spread. Air pollutants can be transported by wind,
causing pollution to spread widely. This is normal to our everyday living, but what we
can do to handle this is to do a way for us to conserve our air. Planting more trees and
as we can, avoid smoking cigarettes, using a vehicle that was not causing too much risk
on our air, and also using organic chemicals is one of a way to conserve our air. We can
handle or avoid our risk of air pollution if we always surround ourselves with a clean and
fresh environment and as we can, we need to avoid polluted areas. Rain can also
remove pollutants from the air due to its precipitation and consequentially soil and water
pollution.
