FIC Installation Instruction
1: Put the boot on the cable
2 ： Strip the drop cable jacket

* Check the fiber coating inside the red circle. If it is damaged, i

t is recommended to replace the jacket stripper.

3: Strip the fiber coating
* Push the cable to the specified location.
* Keep the pressure, pull the cable holder in the direction of the arrow to r
emove the coating.

4: Clean the bare fiber with dust-free paper which is wet with alcohol.

* Clean the dust and fiber coating completely.

5 ： Place the cleaned cable on the corresponding pos
ition on the fiber cleaver and cleave the fiber.

5 ： Cleave the fiber

6 ： Check the switch ， it must be unlocked before in
stallation
7 ： Pull the snap ring
8 、 9 ： Put the fiber into the body and wedge the cable into the snap
ring .
* Avoid touching other objects after cutting the fiber during this step.
* The cable must reach the top of the slot.

10：Push the snap ring until it’s stop
* Ensure that the fiber is inserted to the bottom of the snap ring.
* Push slowly to ensure that the fiber is not damaged before entering the V-groove.
11 ： Install the boot ,and the switch will be locked automaticaly
Typical adverse phenomenon
1 ： Poor fiber cutting
2 ： There is residue of fiber coating in the V-groove

lease use the cable holders we provide.

* Fiber cleaver
The metal cleaver is easy to break after inciden
tal falling and the components may be loose whi
ch will lead to poor fiber cutting.
The main body of the green fiber cleaver we pr
ovide is plastic and resistant to falling.

Installation Tips:
• Clean the dust and fiber coating completely.
• Place the cleaned cable on the corresponding position （ red circle ） to
ensure the fiber length is 27mm.
• Avoid touching other objects after cutting the fiber.
