PASASALAMAT
2019-2020
(Fathers of Grade 6 Students)
By the end of this Reflection -
• EXPRESS gratitude to each and every father
who is present tonight for the successful task
of raising his son
• RAISE this gratitude to God, who is our first
Father, and from Him all paternity is drawn
• PRAY that our sons see our paternity as an
extension of God’s fatherhood
• Guiding your sons in the ways
of the faith, leading them into
a relationship of love with the
Blessed Trinity is a God-given
task
• Consider your own relationship
with God — since we cannot
effectively hand on a relationship
with our heavenly Father to our
sons if we, ourselves, are not
grounded in such a relationship
• Raising children, and
catechizing and teaching
them in the faith, can be
supremely satisfying. It is
also supremely challenging!
• The most important point is the
recognition that we are called to
trust God in guiding the children
in our care. They are ultimately
His children, with whom we
have been entrusted.
Proverbs 3: 5-6
• Trust in the LORD with all your
heart
and lean not on your own
understanding;
in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths
