• The title of the chart is “YoY sales change with brands rising
Increase and Decrease in Sales
& declining most” and dark blue colour is used to highlight it
since the chart is already having shades of orange & blue

• This chart explains the increase and decrease in YoY sales for
all dog food brands by specifically highlighting the brands
which are decreasing and increasing most in YoY sales

• Dark orange colour indicates for brands declining the most in


YoY sales and light orange colour indicates for brands showing
decrease in YoY sales

• Dark blue colour indicates for brands increasing the most in


YoY sales and light blue colour indicates for brands showing
increase in YoY sales

• In this case brands - Fran’s Recipe and Wholesome Goodness


are declining the most with more than 10% decline in YoY
sales

• For brands – NutriBalance and Farm Fresh Basics, these two


are increasing the most with more than 15% rise in YoY sales

• The title of the chart is “YoY sales change for brands –


Lifestyle & Felines” and sky blue colour is used to
highlight it since there are shades of Black & Purple in
chart, which are relatively dark colours. Hence, light
colour is used for the title.

• This chart explains the YoY sales change for two brands
namely, Lifestyle and Feline

• Dark black colour is use to highlight the Lifestyle brands

• Dark purple colour is used to highlight the Feline brands


since the logo of Feline brand is purple colour

• Since increase and decrease in YoY sales is covered in


previous chart, this chart is just to focus on two dog food
brands namely, Lifestyle & Feline and how they have
performed

Narration:
• Earlier the heatmap was not showing any trend, the conditional formatting was just applied to revenue % by giving a range
• No trend could be found because even if there is rise or decrease in revenue from one quarter to another for any year, the
visualization was giving wrong picture for anyone to interpret, since only red and green colour were the highlighted colours
• In the above two charts, we can see the trend from each quarter to other and from each year to other respectively
• From left chart, it can be concluded that there is rising trend in revenue for most of the advertisers as from one period to
another
• From right chart, it can be concluded that as the age of advertiser increases, so does the revenue each year
