Direction: Answer the following questions.

1. Who dared for a fight? Describe him.


- Goliath dared a fight. He is a giant warrior, a
champion and a leader.

2. Who accepted the challenge? Describe him.


- David accepted Goliath’s challenge. He is a
young shepherd, A musician, brave person and he
has a lot of courage.

3. Did David feel afraid?


- He was not afraid because he believes that
God is with him. He never forget to prayed to our
God.

4. How was David able to defeat goliath?


- David hurls a stone from his sling and
hits Goliath in the center of his
forehead, Goliath falls on his face to the ground,
and David cuts off his head

- David would have been torn into pieces with
bare hands unless he ran away.

6. What is the lesson of the story?


- Trusting God is the most important thing in
our daily lives to be able to have the courage to
overcome our fear and to stand up against our
problem. In God’s hand, we are protected and
safe.

1. The class laughs boisterously at every mistake your


classmates make. On one instance, you are asked by the
teacher to answer but you are not sure of your answer. Will
you take the courage to stand up? Why or why not?

- Yes, I will take the courage to stand up and answer my


teacher even if I am not sure with my answer. This is one way
to prove my self and to be more confident.
2. As you are walking on the school corridor, you
notice two pupils from the higher grade vandalizing the wall of
your school. Suddenly they see you and threaten you that if you
tell them to the principal they are going to hurt you. Will you
take the courage to stand on truth? why?

- Yes, I will take the courage to go the principals office


and I will stand up to tell them the truth even if those
students will hurt me. I will not be afraid because I believe
that our God will protect me from any harm.
Assignment:

Search 2 picture of popular personality


who showed courage that made him/her
successful. Then write 2-3 sentences how
that person showed his/her courage.

honor when she won the Miss Universe

He has the courage to stand up and
fight his will to win against other
country men. He never fails to give
honor to our country especially when
