Introducing a

Guest Speaker
Step#1:
Greet your Audience with enthusiasm!
• Don’t be boring or open by saying “Afternoon everyone.... lets make a
start”. If you’re the host and you’re not excited why should your
audience be excited?
• Your role as a host is to walk on stage and blow the audience’s mind.
Step#2
Compliment the Speaker.
Show you admiring the guest speaker by
complimenting him or her. Build your audience’s
natural curiosity by showing that you respect and
admire the speaker. Everyone has at least one thing
that you can admire.
Step#3:
What’s special about the speaker?
After you complimenting about the speaker let the audience
know what so special about that specific speaker, and be
genuine about that. Do some research, read their bio and find
something in their journey that catches your eye, that way
your words will be more sincere and it will be much easier for
you to say those things.
Step#4:
What’s in it for the audience?
• Without giving away too much, give the audience a preview
of what they will learn and why they should listen.
Step#5
Announce the speaker & ask the audience to applaud the speaker.

• Call the speaker on stage and aske the audience

to give him or her a massive round of applause.
