STEP 1: LOG-IN INTO THE OUM PORTAL (oum.edu.my)

Log-in
TEP 2: CLICK myINSPIRE TAB IN THE STUDENT PORTAL

Click myINSPIRE tab

STEP 3: SELECT THE SUBJECT ON THE DASHBOARD
OF myINSPIRE

Select the subject that going to have

the “Online MCQ Exam” by clicking
the subject tab
Note: You may set the language for myINSPIRE to Malay Language by
following the steps below.

If you set your myINSPIRE into Malay language, the English and Malay MCQ
questions will still appear together except certain button labels such as submit
will appear in Malay as “Hantar” ,etc. Take note that not all are translated into
Malay. You still will find English terms in the Malay version of myINSPIRE

Repeat the same process in order to complete all the

remaining questions. Just click the “Next page” button to
move on to the next question

Click “Finish attempt” after you have

completed all the questions.
IMPORTANT NOTE (1)
It is not compulsory for you to click the “Finish attempt” button only on the
final question page. You may finish attempting the online exam by clicking
the “Finish attempt” in any of the question pages as shown below.
However, kindly ensure that you have answered all the questions
before clicking the finish attempt button.

IMPORTANT NOTE (2)
If you are yet to click “Finish Attempt” but accidently exit the questions page
or the system is hang due to Internet disruptions, you still can go in to the
question page in order to complete the questions or to submit the questions
provided you still have time left for the examination. All the previous
answers are auto-saved by the system (provided the Internet was working
at that point of time).

The timer still will be running when you exit MCQ exam or switch off the
computer unless you have submitted the questions.
STEP 11: CONFIRMING THE SUBMISSION
The following page will appear when you click “Finish attempt” :

STEP 12: CONFIRMING THE SUBMISSION

Again, confirm your

submission
Once you have completed Step 12 shown in the previous
slide, confirmation of submission will appear as shown
below for your record. No more attempts are allowed.
Repeat the same process from step 3 for the other
subjects having online MCQ examination

The university would not entertain any request for re-

attempt of the MCQ online examination due to Internet
disruptions, power failures, accidently clicked the “Submit
Exam” button, etc.

If there are any mistakes in the questions, you have to

answer the questions based on your own understanding.
However, you may provide feedback to the university by
emailing to mcq_exam@oum.edu.my AFTER completing
the online examination. Kindly indicate your name, matric
number, subject name and code, question number and the
error. All complain on the errors in the question will be
investigated by the university.
