HOLTER MONITORING

 Holter monitoring or ambulatory ECG is a

noninvasive test that continuously record the
electrical activity of a patient’s heart muscle(ECG)
for 24 hours using a special portable device called
holter monitor. The test identifies dysarrhythmias and
evaluates the effectiveness of treatment. Instruct the
patient to resume normal daily activities and keep a
diary noting activities and presence of symptoms
such as chest pain, palpitation, dyspnea etc
