This document describes a project to develop an Online Student & Staff Complaint Management System (OSSCMS) for BBSULK. The system will allow students and staff to register, track, and resolve complaints online, saving time compared to the current manual paper-based system. The project aims to make the complaint process more efficient and accessible. It will be developed using an iterative design process and technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. The system is expected to speed up complaint activities, provide timely information to users, and create a better environment for addressing issues.

Contents • Introduction • Problem Statement • Solution • Significance of the project • Objectives • Design & Methodology • Conclusion • References Introduction • OSSCMS is a cross platform application which is provides easier way to register, coordinate, monitor, and resolve the complainer problem • OSSCMS provides an online way of solving the problems faced by the Student and Faculty of department by saving time • OSSCMS is used to record resolve and respond to complaints, requests as well as facilitate any other feedback • The main purpose of this project is to help the Students in knowing their place details and getting their problems solved in online without going to the officer regularly until the problem is solved Problem Statement • Currently the university is facing many problems due to the use of manual system in its day to day activity. • In the manual system because individual activities write on paper during this consume more time and other resource such as paper, pen, time etc. so it is difficult to give response for the complaints and to make complain. Solution • The proposed system of our project changes the existing manual process of the organization to the new system. To eliminate drawback of the existing system, the only way is computerization. Problem that solved in new system:- • Easy access of file • Storing and maintaining data in database • Gives fast service to the user • Reports generated based on information stored in the database • Reduce cost that can pay for paper and other files Objectives • The main objective of this project is to develop complaint management system for the bbsulk • The objective of the complaints management system is to make complaints easier to coordinate, monitor, track and resolve the problem • To provide university with an effective tool to identify and target problem areas, monitor complaints handling performance and make development improvements • To evaluate the existing paper-based information of complaint management system Significance of the project • Increasing speed of activity of complaint because the current system is slow • To get information on time • To help the complainers getting their problem solved in online without going to the office regularly until the problem is solved. By this system the user can save his/her time and eradicate loss of human power • Creating better working environment for complaint • To Express their feelings freely • To satisfy the university community DESIGN & METHODOLOGY • An iterative life cycle model does not attempt to start with a full specification of requirements. Instead, development begins by specifying and implementing just part of the software, which can then be reviewed in order to identify further requirements. WHY ITERATIVE MODEL? • Requirements of the complete system are clearly defined and understood. • Major requirements must be defined; however, some functionalities or requested enhancements may evolve with time. • A new technology is being used and is being learnt by the development team while working on the project.
