5 Possessive ’s

We use a name/noun + ’s to show possession.


This is Sarah’s bag.
= Sarah has a bag.

That is Peter’s house.


= Peter has a house.

Ryan is Cindy’s husband.


= Cindy has a husband. His name is Ryan.

This is Cindy and Ryan’s café.


= Cindy and Ryan have a café.
