Why I should be your

next Team Support.

BY CHRISTIAN PARRILLA
Let´s begin…
The following slides will summarize values, skills and facts that I consider
relevant and useful for the best interest of our team. Details about myself ready
to be placed in action, always looking for the best interest of our team and the
goals we set.

As they say, a calm sea will never make a good sailor. The support roll will come
with its own challenges, and of course possible solutions. I am willing to face the
challenge, and prove myself helpful to our high performance team.
Challenges.
-The biggest challenge is my commitment with Shauna Libke, currently my
position as learning coordinator is being charged hourly.
-The reduction of time used to action the daily requests.
Solutions.
Regarding the compliance with Shauna, I can first commit to completely give my best when
fulfilling the daily requests, seeking to maximize my time.
Organizing my day in a way that I can support my peers and keep performing as I am right now.
A detailed schedule prioritizing and keeping in mind that emergencies might occur, so a little
wiggle room will be considered.
As per today, the agreed time of completion of 24 hours has not been used, including peak
season. I can take advantage of that 24 hour room.
If an emergency occurs and I am unable to attend our team counts with the valued help from Andre,
he supports our team when one of us is not here. This will not mean that all the workload can be just
dropped on him or Lucia, but I am confident that if needed, Andre and Lucia are capable of handling
it.
Regarding the hourly billing, I can only hope that we get a positive answer from Shauna when the
right time comes.
Leadership Skills.
The first opportunity of performing as a leader was back in 2012, when I was hired to
legally advice Hogar Seguro, a challenging place to work as you might have recently
learned. There I prove myself as a leader and gained the direction of legal logistics
and was given a team of 16 professionals. I was 22 when I learned how working
under pressure was, and rapidly fall in love with the rush I felt. When dealing with
the lives of hundreds of kids you have to be extra careful, that developed my
attention to detail. The place lacked of many resources so my ability to innovate was
placed under test. With ridiculous deadlines requested by judges critical thinking
was part of my daily routine.
After moving to Los Angeles I was able to prove my leadership skills in a totally
different LOB. This time I was laddering a sales floor, one of the busiest T mobile
stores in the area and I was ready to keep learning. All my learned skill were being
tested with the goal to create revenue for my store. I learned how a high
performance sales team was supposed to deliver, to maximize the revenue we
brought to our store. Learning people skills constantly and by coming up with
techniques I went above and beyond for my team. Until today, I value teamwork and
the importance of knowing your people, without losing the goal of bringing home
that revenue.
Why is all of this relevant?
I give my commitment to bring the best of me personally and professionally. If
given the opportunity I will bring all what I learned and will keep on learning and
growing so I can give more to our team. All my experience and willing to grow
will be there for our it(regardless of the result). Please let me give back my team
mates the best support they can deserve.
The courage to innovate and spirited team work have inspire on me the passion
for growth within this amazing team that is GLE. Let me create the opportunity to
be part of the greatness of our team by supporting our leads.
Thank you for your time, I am sure that you will make the best
decision for our team.
