Reason for choosing Subhas Chondra Bose?
• I picked Subhas Chondra Bose he
was one of those person who had
fought for Bengal and free it from
British.
• The fight of independence of
Bengal from British had started
long time before, it started from the
Battle of Palashi. They fought
against British and they failed.
• After that a lots of people also tried
to free Bengal (in India) from
British. According to me Subhas
Chondra Bose was the one who had
sacrificed a lot for the Bengal (in
India).
• As a result I choose him.
Contributions of Subhas Chondra Bose
in the emergence of Bangladesh.
•Basically Bangladesh was born much later. Before that our
country was known as a Bengal. It was a large state.

•Even, before, the capital city of India was in Bengal. And it

was dream of Subhas Chondra that whole India will be one
country. It was also the dream of Mahatma Gandhi.

•After getting freedom from British Pakistan had created and 20

years later of that the Bangladesh had came in existence.

•Bangladesh would not be born if the Hindu Muslim fight did

not occur. There were two parts in Bengal. One is East Bengal
and another one is West Bengal.

•And we all had one identity, Bangali in India. Because of

Hindu Muslim fight East Bengal becomes separated and 20
years later Bangladesh come its existence.

• Subash Chondra Bose had sacrificed a lot for his country, Bengal (in India). He
tolerate the rejection from Presidency College for nationalist activities.

• He then went University of Cambridge in England for the study of Civil service
exam even after passing Civil service exam he resigned his candidacy because of
nationalist turmoil’s in Bengal (India).
Continue
•He had also encourage Bengali youth to
boycott British goods especially coat pant by
singing song (Mayer Deya Mota kapoor
Mathay Tuli Ne Re Vai).
• He encourages people and in the middle of
bazaar he burned all the British cloth with the
other people.
•He also made a team in the name of Bengal
volunteer for this. Subash works a lot for the
success of this non-cooperation movement.
Subash was the leader of that team. British
police tried a lot to stop that movement.
•Even they also burned the kahki dress. Not
only that British police also hit them a lot with
stick but could not succeed to stop the protest.
•They were singing the song continuously
(Mayer dewa mota kapoor mathay tule ne re
vai).
What have I learned from this exercise?

• After reading the whole journey of Subhas

I learned that how we can fight for our
country, develop our country.
• Before I hated politics because I believed
that people in politics are dishonest and
they just think about themselves.
• They always try to gain power to misuse it
and earn money. But after reading the
history of Subhas I learned honesty and
dishonesty depends on individual.
• Subhas was also a politician and did a lot
of things for Bengal and the whole India.
Just as the fingers of the hand are not
equal, so is politics and not everyone is
equal.
• I learned how to show patriotism for my
country.
Conclusion
The journey of the Bangladesh is very long. Just like a child take time to grow similarly our country takes
time to come to its existence. During these journey lots of people sacrifice their many things.
Some famous people like Subhas Chondra Bose, Nawab sirajuddaula, Khudiram, etc sacrifice their whole life
for Bengal (in India) to free it from British. But still today lots of People in Bengal like to settle in British
and live there.
This seems that the sacrifice which was given by the people to free Bengal (in India) from British is now
totally waste. It is acceptable that our people go to England for higher education but it will not acceptable for
us if we settle there.
Doing job there will mean that we are still enslaving the British which is somehow true. So we should not do
that we always should think about our country, how to develop it, so that Britain and the people of other
country would like to come our country, feel proud to come our country .
