What lead us to the problem
 Where did last night’s dinner go?
 Improper wastewater disposal
 Contaminated water resource
 Finite supply of potable water
Main Problem
How can we make wastewater clean or safe enough to
dispose it without harming the environment?
Objective of the Research
The main purpose of this research is to treat the wastewater
produced by Pitogo High School specifically to know how we
can do it having a limited space to install it within the vicinity
of the school.
Significance
 Wastewater that is safe enough to dispose
 Initiator of treating own wastewater before disposal
 Accordance to DILG-Memorandum circular no. 2019-
62
Scope and Limitation
This research focuses on the design of the treatment plant
including the specification of tanks, filters, pipes, valves,
blower and pump. And since will be using sequencing batch
reactor which perform treatment phases through sequencing
or by batch, we will design a suitable operating schedule
suitable for the occupants of Pitogo High School in Makati
City including students, faculty, maintenance, housekeeping,
guards and merchants.
