Introduction
“A teenager, or teen, is a person who falls within the
ages of 13 to 19 years old.”

 The word "teenager" is often associated with


adolescence.
 Adolescence is the name for this transition period from
childhood to adulthood.

“Among high school students,
approximately 44% girls and 14% boys
are attempting to lose weight according to
survey.”

 Body image is the perception


that a person has of their
physical self .
 Feelings can be positive,
negative or both.

 Stress
 Stress is a feeling of emotional or
physical tension.

 It can come from any event or thought


that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or
nervous.

 Stress can be positive, such as when it


helps you avoid danger or meet a
deadline.

 Stress can increase the risk of strokes,


heart attacks, ulcers, and mental illnesses
such as depression.

 Study Pressure
 Academic pressure is the stress
experienced by students because of
their inability to perform well enough
in school .

 Their fear that they will be unable to


perform well enough in school.

 It is the greatest stress in the life of


most students.

 The pressure of studies is so much


that it is driving teenagers to suicide.

“ Every 5th child is bullied in


this entire world”

 Mentally or physically

 It also affects grades

 Depression is classified as a mood
disorder.

 Feelings of sadness, loss, or anger


that interfere with a person’s
everyday activities.

 Loss of interest in, or conflict with,


family and friends.

 Low self-esteem.

A study has revealed that :


 Teenagers who smoke and drink
alcohol are causing visible
damage to their arteries by the
age of 17.

CONCLUSION

We can conclude that teenagers are very sensitive. we


should realize their needs and get closer to them so as
to deal with them in the most effective way.  

Teachers and parents should work together in order to


reach out to these teenagers.
