    The Holiness of God

    In the Bible, holiness is
    very important to God because that holiness is
    the center of divine motivation and His essential
    character. God manifested His holiness with
    holy justice when His people rebelled against
    Him. In addition, the people of God also
    acknowledged that no one is as holy as He is.
    Journey of Holiness

    ◦ Jesus starts his final journey to Jerusalem


    through Judea. As Jesus travels towards
    Jerusalem, in the later Perean ministry, about
    one third the way down from the Sea of Galilee
    (actually a freshwater lake) along the River
    Jordan, he returns to the area where he was
    baptized.
