 What is the online learning?

Online learning is when you take courses

online instead of in a physical classroom.

Benefit of virtual learning

1- Flexibility for both teachers and pupils.

2- Teachers can have their own learning environment.
3- Online degrees are more affordable.
4- students can develop important skills such as; how to use the technology.
Supportive ideas for parents whose teach
their children at home because of
Coronavirus.

1- Limit distraction. The parents can reduce the

misbehaving during online session.

2- Make space for learning. Create an educational area for

their children so they can focus very well.

3- Maintain breaks such as snack time and recess. Between

sessions children can get some fresh air, and parents they
should encourage them to get up for it.
LIVE LESSONS ON TEAMS:
Dear Parents – below are a list of rules we wish for students to abide by while studying remotely
from home. This will enable teachers and classes to work productively and successfully.

1. Ensure you arrive on time for each lesson. If your lesson

begins at 9:00am you should be sitting down and ready to
go at that time. Students arriving 10/15 minutes after a
lesson has started will not be accepted.
2. Children should be dressed appropriately and sitting at a
table/desk. Children should not be lying in bed/wearing
pyjamas etc.
3. Cameras should be SWITCHED ON at all times. This allows
teachers to see which children are in the lessons and is also
very important for security reasons.
4. Children can have a water bottle but should not be eating
snacks/drinking soft drinks during lessons. Breaks will be
given during the day for lunch etc.
5. Children should be in a quiet area of the house so they can
work peacefully and concentrate on each lesson.
