always the teacher to put their own information/content into videos that already exist. • These can be videos from YouTube, TED, or videos the teacher created. More about Edpuzzle
• Teachers can take videos that already exist
and insert questions or facts into the video. • The video will not continue until the questions are answered. • In this screenshot you can see the green question marks throughout the video, these would be where the students would interact with the video as well. Live Mode • Edpuzzle has a feature called live mode. This is where the teacher can project the video on to the smartboard and the students can answer questions on their own devices. • The teacher determines how long the students have to answer each question. • You can also click on view answers to see the students answers. • This can be efficient because is shows where most of the class is with the assignment. How to use Edpuzzle in the Classroom • Edpuzzle would a great exit slip for the students. Say for the last 15 minutes of class they can watch a video of an overview of what they learned that day and answer a few questions about it. • This would be a great way for them to see the information in a different way and for the teacher to see where they stand on the topic. • Edpuzzle is also a great option for homework.
